OpenMail for Gmail™

Watch multiple Gmail accounts for unread mail, and read, mark as read, or delete messages right from the toolbar — no need to switch tabs.

What it does

• Connect as many Gmail accounts as you want and see unread counts for each, in one popup
• Preview the full content of an email inline, without opening Gmail
• Mark messages as read or move them to Trash directly from the popup — changes happen for real in Gmail, not just locally
• Get notified the moment new mail arrives, with sender and subject shown up front
• Messages flagged High Importance by the sender are called out and pulse the toolbar icon so you don't miss them

How it works

OpenMail talks directly to Google's Gmail API using your own sign-in — there's no backend server in between. Everything the extension keeps (connected accounts, cached previews, settings) stays stored locally in your browser.
